The business was first established in 1979 by the managing director Mr. Seet Ah Wat as sole proprietorship. This family owned business was then renamed to YONGHUAT Marketing Sdn. Bhd. in December 2007. The core activities are centered on sales and marketing of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) with warehousing and logistic support. We are high volume supply chain specialist, focusing on confectionery, food and beverage, household products, medicine and others.

With an enriched experience of more than 40 years, the business has grown to be among the leading FMCG distributor in Malacca. Along with the business expands and grows, we had shifted to a larger warehouse and office located in Krubong Jaya, Malacca with storage space of over 1500 pallets to meet the higher demand and provide a better working environment. In addition, we have a warehouse with office in Johor Bahru, as well as a sales office in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.

YONGHUAT TIMELINE

  1. The founder Mr. Seet Ah Wat established the business by a van and run the business by “Van Sale”.

  2. YONGHUAT has successfully become the agent of Power Roots, and expands the business market to Segamat and Muar.

  3. YONGHUAT has its own shop lot as the first warehouse and office at Taman Merak Emas, Durian Tunggal, Melaka.

  4. YONGHUAT transfers the business entity from Sole Proprietorship to Sdn. Bhd. and moves to a Semi-D Warehouse (9000 sqft) at Taman Merdeka, Melaka.

  5. YONGHUAT moves again to a bigger warehouse (36000 sqft) and office, the number of employees has reached 50 people. Besides, YONGHUAT becomes the agent of Tong Garden.

  6. YONGHUAT has successfully become the agent of the RB company and as the sole distributor of RB products in Malacca.

  7. YONGHUAT becomes the agent of URC and expands the business market to Negeri Sembilan.

  8. First company trip to Pattaya and Bangkok.

  9. YONGHUAT expands the business and set up a branch warehouse and office in Johor.

  10. YONGHUAT’s employees have reached about 100 people. Furthermore, YONGHUAT has successfully become the agent of F&N company in Johor.
